Vietnam Oil and Gas Corporation:
Safety management system - Health - Environment (ATSKMT) continues to be built, maintained and improved at the Group and member units. There are 15/16 units of the Group with the management system of ATSKMT certified internationally.
The risks of safety assurance are identified and managed right from the design stage, construction to test run, commercial operation.
An emergency rescue organization is established from the Group to the member units.
Machines and equipment with strict requirements on labor safety shall be listed, declared and tabulated to monitor the inspection status according to regulations.
Organizing 11 teams to conduct periodical inspections annually in more than 50 units in the Group. Group entities continue to maintain four levels of inspection: early work safety checks; Team level testing; Company-level inspection, corporation-level inspection.
In the year 2016, the Vietnam Oil and Gas Corporation to cause 15 accidents to injure 15 people, including 01 accident causing death of 01 person (01 loss per 01 person as compared to 2015). Number of fires: No.
Vietnam Electricity Corporation:
The Group has spread the Group's regulations on safety management to the Group's employees. The Group is conducting a review, modification and supplement of electric safety procedures in a streamlined, complete and suitable manner to the actual production and business situation.
In 2016, the Electricity of Vietnam organized inspections at the following units: 04 Electricity Corporation, National Power Transmission Corporation and 03 Electricity Generating Corporation to evaluate, OSH-PCCN.
The units of the Vietnam Electricity Group have trained 93,733 workers safely.
In 2016, units under the Electricity of Vietnam to occur 14 accidents injured 15 people, including 8 occupational accidents killed 8 people down 46.6% compared with 2015 (down 7 cases ).
Vietnam Coal and Mineral Industries Group:
The management and implementation of the annual OSH plan from the Group to the member units has gone smoothly. Companies have made OSH Plans in 5 items approved by the Group.
For pit coal production:
- Actively apply science and technology, advanced technology, mechanization in excavation, mining and transportation mechanics in all areas and locations where conditions permit.
- The work of ventilating 14 mines is strengthened and consolidated according to the regulations. A ventilating room or a full-time water drainage and ventilation officer has been set up.
- At the mines in the Group equipped with 32 automatic gas concentration monitoring systems, maintaining stable operation, ensuring continuous monitoring and gas alarm in the furnace mirrors. The pit mines are equipped with handheld optical gas meters, wind gauges for regulated objects.
- Invest in many forms of human transport in the pit to minimize travel time, ensure the health and safety of workers.
